Club hire for private functions

The club is available to hire for private functions for members only.
Membership can be purchased prior to making a booking.
The person booking needs to be a member for at least 3 months before being able to book.
The main dance hall has facilities for up to 200 people.

Catering can be arranged at a reasonable price.
Please see the steward at the club to make a booking for your event.

The types of events we are ideally suited for, but not limited to, are;

  • Weddings
  • Wakes
  • Birthday Party’s
  • Christenings
  • Kids Parties supervised by parents

We also have a skittle alley available at no charge for parties and other events.

Cost of hiring the Dance Hall

Weekdays Afternoons: £65.00
Weekdays Evenings: £100.00
Weekdays all day: £140.00

You will need to provide your own entertainment or make arrangements with the Entertainment Secretary, Colin Williams.
Dividing doors will remain closed unless requested for them to be open.

Saturday Evenings: £165.00
All day Saturday: £225.00

This will include evening entertainment.
Dividing doors will be opened at 9:00 pm

Christenings: £65.00

Funerals: £65.00 or No charge to club members.

All the above bookings require a £50.00 ‘returnable deposit’ when booking. The deposit will not be returned due to cancelation or the venue not left in a reasonable condition.

 

Conditions

  •         Private functions are available to members only.
  •         The member booking the function must be present for the whole duration of the function.
  •         All bookings will go before the committee for approval.
  •         The £50.00 deposit will not be refunded if cancelled within 14 days of the function.
  •         A guest list showing full names MUST be provided 14 days before the event together with any outstanding money due.
  •         No soft drinks or alcoholic drinks to be brought into the club for consumption on the premises. Wine or Prosecco for toasts etc. may be brought in by arrangement and a £1.50 Corkage will be charged.
  •         18th and 21st Birthday parties will be at the discretion of the committee.
  •         No confetti pieces to be placed on tables and no confetti filled balloons to be used in the club.
  •         All decorations are to be put up with Blu Tac.
